It all started when…
I am Laura Ellis, RN. I have a BA in Psychology and an AD in Nursing from Ocean County College. I have worked at a hospital in NJ for over 35 years. I have also worked in home care for quite a few years and in Community Outreach educating and performing services free of charge to the public. I love being a nurse. I have now transitioned from being a primary nurse to the Legal Nurse Consulting field. I am also a member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants. In this capacity I can use my nursing knowledge and skills in a different, exciting venue in helping the attorneys understand their cases and to provide experts and consultants appropriate to their case needs.
I truly enjoy my profession as a Legal Nurse Consultant. When I am not working, my hobbies include reading, learning, yoga, bike riding, the beach, walking and hiking. I have 2 wonderful sons that I keep in touch with as much as I can. Additionally, I volunteer with The Big Brothers/Big Sisters of NJ and have a wonderful “little” sister. I am blessed to be a part of her life for 14 years.
